I’m attempting to trace my ggf John Jordon (or variants) back into Ireland. John was born around 1806 in Ireland and was a weaver. He, his wife Catherine Kenny, and Patrick, their implied son, first appeared in the Census of Canada in 1851. They settled in Hallowell, Prince Edward County, Ontario. I have not found a marriage record for John and Catherine in Ireland.

John remarried Mary O’Leary, born in Killarney, Ireland in 1818, in Picton, Ontario in 1855.

Do any of you know anything about John Jordon in Ireland or in PEC?
